Casale del Barone is a 'real' agritourism, set in an uncontaminated environment, within a farm with organic production, where cattle of the Marche breed, sheep, pigs and farmyard animals are bred.

It is located near the ancient and picturesque centre of Mercatello sul Metauro, situated at the foot of Massa Trabaria, a strip of the Apennines that marks the border between Marche, Tuscany and Umbria. You can easily reach important centres of art and history, such as Urbino, the city of the Renaissance, Sant'Angelo in Vado and its truffle festival, Urbania, with its ancient ceramic production, and then the fortress of San Leo, Sansepolcro, Gubbio, Fano, Mondavio.

The ancient rural stone house, dating back to the 14th century, has been entirely renovated, using mostly the original materials and employing modern green building techniques.

Guests have at their disposal a swimming pool, a bowling green and an archery area, as well as a fabulous country kitchen, with farm-produced products.
