THE GARDENS OF BACA'
Amidst the verdant foliage of centuries-old olive trees and the intense yellow of the broom is Torre Orsaia, a lovely locality in lower Cilento and the park of the same name.
The beautiful hills that surround it, to the south, open up to the sea and the desire for a holiday. We are 240 m above sea level. Nature is generous and the climate mild, both in winter and summer. The main square is overlooked by the 'Giardini di Bacà' farmhouse, a curious witness to the entire history of the village. The building was constructed in 1928 for family use. For about a year now, the owners have been renovating it to welcome anyone wishing to spend days
peaceful days amidst the fresh air, the vibrant flowers of the Mediterranean maquis and an almost always blue sky.
For those in search of clear waters, we recommend the entire Gulf coast, only a few kilometres away. The beauty of the seascape here is so special that it admits of neither choice nor renunciation: Policastro, Scario, Palinuro, Marina di Camerota offer such a variety of
cliffs, promontories and beaches - golden, sandy, jagged - that deserve more than a dip and a day's relaxation. History is not lacking either. There is the local one, of Torre and the individual neighbouring villages, and there is the nobler one, mentioned in texts, which takes the form of mythological, archaeological, medieval... each of which has left indelible traces in places and artefacts.
A stay at the agriturismo will also allow you to sample Torrese cuisine. Simple and genuine products will be offered to you according to traditional recipes, handed down not by best-selling starred chefs, but by people who have always enjoyed eating well
